IAF, HP tourism department join hands to promote adventure sports in Himachal Pradesh #YesPahari

Indian Air Force and Himachal Tourism has organized a six day long multi-activity expedition in various parts of Himachal Pradesh.

Captain Randhi Salhuria director of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports flagged off the expedition from Manali. The joint expedition started with sky diving in Shimla, followed by cycling from Shimla to Tattapni on June 12. The team then moved to Bir Billing for paragliding. The 16 IAF officers including two lady officers went for trekking expedition to Beas Kund on Thursday.

Rattan Gautam District tourism development officer said the team will stay in camps at Bakarthach and will go to Beas Kund on Friday.

The team will go for river rafting in Beas once they return from Manali. Himachal has vast potential in adventure tourism.
